The Chillon Castle is an island castle situated on Lake Geneva. It is located next to the lake, on the shore between Villeneuve and Montreux which provides access to the Rhône Alpine valley. Chillon is one of the most frequently visited castles in Switzerland. It was once occupied by From 1536 until 1798, it was occupied by the Bernese. The Chillon Castle now belongs to the region called Vaud and is registered as a Cultural Property of National Significance.

I haven’t visited this castle yet. Since I love seeing castles, I would be happy to visit it.
