What makes the promotion playoffs so important is the amount of money given to an English Premier League team in comparison to an English Championship club. In the Championship, the top two teams are automatically promoted to the Premier League. Congrats to Norwich City and Sheffield United!
For the final promotion spot, is decided by a playoff between the next four teams. The first leg of the semifinals begins on Saturday. Leeds United will take on Derby County and Aston Villa will go against West Bromwich Albion. Let me know who you think will advance to the final.
