Just the thought of going to my terrace brings me so much joy these days. Most of my cacti and succulents are either ready to bloom or in bloom right now.
This carallumma with diamond hearts has bunches of blooms all over. Summer is at its peak and so are my cacti and succulents. Through the year they remain in the backdrop while the other plant assume the limelight, now these insignificant looking plants come to the fore with their exotic display of blooms.

Doc these plants may not even get a second look when they are not in bloom, these are really ordinary looking plants no one cares about.
i believe it, plants often hide well in plain sight!
Beautiful color here Dawn. I enjoy all kinds of nature.
Nature is always full of beauty and surprises.
I have many flowering plants in the house during this period, but I would like to have one like this. It is beautiful ..
The plant looks rather like a bunch of ragged twigs the rest of the year.
This is one I need to look up. WOW. It almost looks like a Carrion flower we have here. They must be related.
Thankfully it doesn’t have the dreaded smell Kim.
That was the next question I was going to ask you. Whew, good thing.
We had those growing on their own in my mom’s place and they would smell really awful.
