Was out walking in the backyard yesterday and noticed the Butterfly Bush is starting to sprout green leaves. So excited as I always am with all of my other plants and flowers. Especially the ones in Dustin’s garden.
This will be a very special bush as it will attract many butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. So much to look forward to in my yard and garden. More hope on my future.

Awesome possum! Mine is greening up too. They don’t totally loose their leaves here, but it did go dormant.
Hope springs eternal! Somewhere I have heard this phrase.
I have many Monarch caterpillars that will soon become butterflies. Even through winter some Monarch Butterflies survive Auckland.
Spring brings a new life to the plants, and new hope for us.
