I have attended several events with butterflies as a garnishing to the occasion. Twice was for the funeral and the last was for a wedding. The butterflies were let loose to fly and create a spectacle above. When there are trees in the vicinity, the butterflies linger to the delight of the crowd. The butterflies are more than 50 that would be released all at the same time.
Come to think of it, where do they buy those butterflies and how do the sellers produce the butterflies? My guess is a butterfly farm that is enclosed in a net. The butterflies multiply rapidly as long as the habitat is there like the plants and the trees and also the food that butterflies eat. As for the price of the butterflies, I think it is expensive.

I have never been to or seen anything like it. Wow!
That’s a lovely picture, Alex. I’ve never been to an event where they’ve released butterflies, but I like to watch them in the summer time when they are flying about. I think they are such lovely little creatures.
