Bled Castle is a castle that stands on a steep cliff, which rises 139 m above the surface of the lake bled in Bled. Many centuries have been the headquarters of the Great Gorenjska Estate, and now it is one of Slovenia’s largest cultural and tourist attractions. The castle buildings are arranged around two courtyards. At the lower courtyard there were commercial buildings and residential areas. The courtyard tied the staircase in the middle of the baroque tract. The most interesting is the chapel in the upper courtyard, which was built in 16. Century.. From the oldest conception, a Romanesque wall with an entrance tower has been preserved and the other buildings are from the Renaissance period.

Thank you so much for this short virtual excursion to Bled Castle, it’s very interesting + great views!!! Saw Vyborg Castle in Russia (Vyborg, Leningrad Oblast).
In New Zealand we have few castles. Lanock Castle in Dunedin. There is half a castle in Epsom Auckland but some people live there
I’ve seen some real castles in England
That is a magnificent castle. I have only been to one, The Cloisters in New York City, which is a mediaeval castle run by the Metropolitan Museum. Its unicorn tapestries are a highlight, but I prefer the gardens with their view of the Hudson River. It is quite beautiful. I have only seen European castles in books and film..
I believe – I also see castles from America only in films or books
Oh! I forgot the Hearst Castle which I have visited here on the West Coast, although I think of it more as a museum/gallery than an actual castle. My country is not well known for its castles, but we do have a half dozen or so that are noteworthy. Most are on the East Coast, but one that I have never visited is actually quite near my home:

Oh, this town is also wonderful and worth seeing-thanks
It is pretty just driving by, I have never been in it because it is expensive and I do not drink wine. Some of the vineyards if you don’t drink wine you can go in with friends without paying, but this one is not friendly to teetotalers, RFLOL.
I have been to a few, but some of them have not been completely authentic. I love visiting historic places though.

I saw the castle from the outside alone
Why did not you go to see him in there?
How impressive! Not many castles around these neck of the woods. I would hate to be the gardener there. Love this! Thanks for sharing.
Kim thanks for watching and kind comment
