I had heard about Avocado a long time ago and had even planted a sapling. But this tree now fully grown has not yielded.
It was at the back of my mind to introduce it in our diet but for some reason I never came across it.
I was talking to a friend of mine about this and she told me that these fruits are available in plenty where she lives and when she came to visit me she brought me a kilo of it
I immediately scooped out the flesh added some sugar but sadly I did not like it. I have been playing around with it and I am sure I will finally be able to add it in our diet.
It is unbelievable the kind of elements it contains all of which are great for one’s health. Although they have calories but all that is good fat. It has vitamins such as C, E,K and B-6. and other elements most importantly Niacin which helps reduce bad Cholesterol. You know about the goodness of Potassium and Magnesium which it has in plenty.

I find it hard to buy avocados in our country
Only after this friend got me some I got to taste them. We too do not have many sources here.
I love avocado but cannot always get it, I enjoy it in salads.
I think adding them to salads is the best way to eat them.
Another great way is if you like a bit of spiciness I take mild salsa sauce and add it to avocado cut up in chunks with some cheddar sprinkled on top it tastes real good
At the moment I am playing around with it and finally may find a nice way to eat it. I have yet to acquire a taste for it.

One avocado in a day for me. I adore them.
