I had heard about Avocado a long time ago and had even planted a sapling. But this tree now fully grown has not yielded.
It was at the back of my mind to introduce it in our diet but for some reason I never came across it.
I was talking to a friend of mine about this and she told me that these fruits are available in plenty where she lives and when she came to visit me she brought me a kilo of it
I immediately scooped out the flesh added some sugar but sadly I did not like it. I have been playing around with it and I am sure I will finally be able to add it in our diet.
It is unbelievable the kind of elements it contains all of which are great for one’s health. Although they have calories but all that is good fat. It has vitamins such as C, E,K and B-6. and other elements most importantly Niacin which helps reduce bad Cholesterol. You know about the goodness of Potassium and Magnesium which it has in plenty.
