I was watching the hummingbirds on my deck earlier today and noticed a change in my sedum. The variety I have is called Autumn Joy. It stays green through the summer. Then around the last of August, depending on the weather it starts to turn pink. Nah dah. The pink stage has begun. So excited. This is a mature deck plant that I have to get planted in my garden. I was glad to see this as I know it is still healthy. The next stage will be even more awesome. Stay tuned.
I am sharing two photos You can see the difference in just a few weeks. The first photo was taken in June. The second one I took just today. There are no questions to answer in this poll. I am only comparing the two photos.

Great photos and nice comparison post….nice to see the change!
Thank you, I look forward to more change.
Interesting though I did not understand the meaning of this poll
It was not a poll, like I explained in the post… This plant starts out completely green then as the season goes, it turns pink, as the photo showed.
It is very beautiful in pink when the tiny colors come out. Wonderful depth of field.
Thank you so much, I cannot wait for the final result.
You gonna show us when it’s more or fully pink!!
I’d be beautiful!!
Yes indeed I will show you!
I will keep photos posted as it changes. Thanks for your interest.
I am terrified to leave a comment. My thumb is so black when it comes to plants I might curl up your beautiful pictures.
You should not be terrified. Start with b baby steps. Phone cameras these days are the perfect way for beginners.
look who figured out how to rename things in polls
Yea all I had to do was open my eyes.
you did it, that’s the important thing
beautiful transformation of the sedum
