I am so happy to see the continuous booms on all my amaryllis plants. The weather is really bad, the heat is getting to its peak, so these blooms are not lasting for more than a couple of days now. Yet to see fresh blooms everyday makes me want to fill every container with amaryllis bulbs.
Over the weekend my peach amaryllis which I thought had gone missing finally bloomed. The plant hasn’t done too well, purely because I have kind of neglected it. It has got stuck in a corner of the pergola. So this time I have labeled it and once it it done blooming I will re-pot pot it and give it a lot more love, so in the next season it will repay me handsomely.
The amount of love you give your plants shows up in the kind of flowers or fruits you get. Gardening is a continuous learning process and the more you learn the more rewards you get.
Thankfully you don’t have to do muck for an amaryllis plant.

I am glad you like it Tasartcraft.
Very eye catching color, there were about 15 blooms at one time and people just stopped to look at them.
i would say you have to do more than I am able to do!
I really have to do more, but there is only so much time and I try to do my best.
if we always reach our gaols they are too low!
Absolutely!! I completely agree, we need to reach for the stars.
that is very true, reach for the stars is a great line!
Such a gorgeous flower!
It is gorgeous, I wish they would last longer.
Great shot. You have beautiful flowers.
Thank you dear Vida. I do love flowers.
You are a rich man with this beauty around you.
I am rich, I don’t deny it. When nature is your mother you cannot be anything but rich 😀
These are gorgeous plants, love the color. Never grown any before.
These really don’t need any care. Some of mine were potted some five years ago, i just give them some organic fertilizer from time to time.
Yay, it bloomed! Mine is done. Just enjoyed the last flower last week. Lovely shot.
Already done blooming? I have around twenty containers of amaryllis, some are late bloomers and I still think there is more to come.
