This is a little tree growing in a container, I have already mentioned in my earlier posts that I only have a container garden.
It bears fruits all year long but mostly in August -September. It is found in the tropical regions. This is a very common fruit in Asia.
We make jams and jellies out of it. I love the jelly especially. It is the size of an medium sized apple, shaped like a pear sometimes. The fruit is a light green on the outside the flesh is sometimes white or pink inside. It had thousands of seeds .The ripe fruit has a strong but nice flavor and is sweet to taste.
The picture above is the flower of this tree. Can you guess which fruit this is? It is the guava. It is rich in vitamin C , vitamin A and small amounts of niacin, vitamin B-6, folate, thiamine and riboflavin.

There are several types of guava in my country, and I ever have two kinds of them.
Wonderful flower. Unfortunately, this fruit fails in our country.
I love guava! Eat it with plum powder…woohoo!!!
I have heard of many eating guava with cheese.
I have never heard that before. Guava cheese is basically dehydrated pulp of the fruit
