One of my grandchildren asked me when life goes back to normal. Immediately I thought, “we are going on a learning journey” and that’s a good thing. My second thought was what does life really mean. So I sent him to his tablet to find out what life is and this is the definition he found.
“the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death.”
He read it out loud and three times and then said “Oh man, I get it. There is no normal, life is always changing so it’s kind of like running the river. You have to take it as it comes.”
I think that is something I have been missing. I believe I may have been swimming against the tide with all the strength I had rather than go with the flow and take things as they come. So, now that I am home and dealing with this here my goal is to simply take things as they come and deal with them the best I know-how. Then remember to simply let it go when I have done my best to adjust and move on.
Worrying has no real purpose and I have done a lot of that in my little world. I am doing my best to let that go and move forward. Constant change, evaluation, action, and responses are normal. That is what life means. Let go and ride with the tide.

That is a really great post and a wonderful photograph. The animal looks like a Stag.
Right now I am having another issue with my anxiety and that is just where I would want to be in the canoe just drifting.
Sorry to hear about the anxiety. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.
The no’s have disappeared it seems. Lovely photo. I see the birds. And I like your attitude. Go with the flow. No worrying.
Humm, it appears to me that the only answer one can give is yes. Maybe I am rusty or maybe I just don’t know how to do this anymore. Either way, have a great day!
