The first leg of the UEFA Europa League Knockout Round of 32 will be played today. All 16 matches will be played throughout Europe. Three of the matches will be played in Germany, while the 13 other games will be played in Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Romania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Ukraine, England, Cyprus, Greece, Netherlands, Italy, and Scotland respectively. The diverse amount of countries show how much soccer has grown in Europe.
In the USA, only two of the matches will be shown on TV. UniMas will have a doubleheader. The first match will be Manchester United travelling to Belgium to take on Club Brugge. The second match will be Espanyol going up against Wolverhampton in England. Unfortunately, the best match-up out of the 16, Getafe against Ajax, will not be shown in the USA on TV. However, all of the games are available via streaming on Bleacher Report Live.

Español lost 4-0. I really want Atlético Madrid to win this year´s Champions League. They lost two finals not long ago, unfortunately. Simeone deserves to have this trophy. Regarding Europa League, I really want a poor team winning it.
There’s too many good teams in the Europa League to see an upstart team win it with Wolves, Manchester United, Roma, Inter Milan, Eintracht Frankfurt, Celtic, and Rangers left. I wouldn’t mind Atletico winning a Champions League, but they have to finish the job next month.
It would be great to have a Scottish side winning the Europa League. I support Celtic then.
Enjoy the games and I hope your team wins!
So far, Wolverhampton Wolves are up 1-0 at halftime. I like them because they have a catchy name.
We are going to play more matches on different programs … probably I’ll watch Getafe – Ajax …. you know probably the best football in Europe is played, my friend
Yes, all of the real good soccer is played in Europe
The goal as always is to try and catch some. I don’t think I will today (a really busy day at work)!
Don’t worry – all of these teams will be playing the 2nd leg next Thursday
i will sadly be in DC all day Thursday next week.
As long as you stay away from K Street, you’ll be all right
well now that might be a bit hard. But K runs the length of DC and you are speaking of the north side. I am on the south side of the city.
