that has to be hard. The house must feel empty now.
Also it sounds like when you went somewhere you went as a family so that helped to. It sounds like you and your wife had lots of experience making sure your kids were calm on the plane that the other parents with screaming kids did not know. How did they calm them down?
i traveled mostly on my own for work, for many years. But we were able to take the kids on a number of vacations. I did the same thing my parents did when we left the US many years ago. Explain what is happening, talk to them and keep things moving along.
Honestly once a baby is in the plane, and their ears start to her, you can’t calm them down until they are tired and fall asleep.
I see. So you and your wife had it all figured out what to do and the kids remained calm because you two explained it to them and also you traveled with them enough that they could understand, correct or not?:
correct, although i am not sure we had it all figured out, we were just confident we knew enough!
I fall asleep easily. I like naps.
there is nothing like a Sunday nap!!! i love relaxing and falling asleep on the weekend.
Plenty of room for all. Convenient.
