Still in the warm air of vacations past today. That is despite the fact that yesterday’s high was a blistering 34 degrees. I almost had to take my gloves off it was so warm. I didn’t; it wasn’t warm. I did also get to enjoy the new decorations on I495. Lots of beautiful red lights all the way from Virginia into Maryland. I am not sure who put all the lights there, but they are wonderful to stop and look at.
I was driving where else I could look but straight ahead at the brake lights of the driver in front of me. It was a lovely light display, one of those wish someone else were here enjoying them and that I was home. One of the things that always gets me is how long it takes to get from one point to another in the DMV. (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia).
The first picture is Dylan waiting. He was trying to figure out if he was going. He knows that he is going when the dog area is packed. He wasn’t happy that the dog area wasn’t packed. Neither was his sister. They did get to stay in the house; we had a nice house/pet sitter taking care of them. But dogs don’t always see the value in someone else taking care of them. They want their people there at all times!
Thanks! It is a wonderful place to think about when the high for the day is 12 degrees.
Awesome and cute photos!
