Images from the water on Earth Day. The one bad thing we did was fill the boat up with gas, which does release some stuff into the atmosphere. The pictures are continuing a tradition we started last year. Every time we get on the baot, we take a picture of Captain Lars, our Norweigan Boating Troll. Lars joined our family two years ago while we were in Norway, and has lived either in my office or on the boat since returning with us to the US.
Lars lives in my office when the boat is on land. He lives on the boat when it is on the water. He brings luck, guidance and I am hoping guides fish to our boat directly! Yesterday we got to see some of the Osprey. They nest on the buoy and channel markers in the Bay. There are a couple of really good close shots of the Osprey. You can see the one later in this collection of the Osprey standing guard over the next as we cruised by.
The Bay, for a spring day, was not heavily filled with other boaters. That will change over the next two-three weeks. Right now people are still fighting off the lethargy of winter. We ended up cooking lunch on the boat, that was enjoyable. Before that, we had taken a short cruise. My daughter wants to learn how to pilot/captain the boat. So, of course, Lar’s volunteered his captain experience to help out. Other than him telling her to grab a shield and a sword, he did a great job as a training captain!
Lovely blooms you shared.
