The medieval fortress Enisala.
Situated 2 km from the village of the same name, it is the last medieval fortress, which is located in Dobrudja.
There are disputes when it was built.
According to historians, it is part of the fortress system of the 2nd Bulgarian state.
Enisala translates as a New village.
It offers an incredible view of Lake Rasim.
This is a good capture. It is nice I should say.
Good luck for good weather!
The next day was pretty uncomfortable for photos …
that picture made me sing The Rains Of Castamere
Whether the song was not created precisely for that view 😉
it may have inspired the song, but probably not
Great shot and wonderful view…
He deserved his way up there!
Nice fortress-is this located in Bulgaria?
No, in Romania, south of Tulcea.
But this area is closely related to Bulgarian history.
A great photo and looks like you would have nice views.
The panorama was incredible, and we got there at sunset
