Taken from where we are staying in Rotorua with the same lovely hosts as last time. I wish I could stay for a week but can only stay tonight and tomorrow then we are moving to another place…
Rainbow…Gives hope.
The month of August for Auckland has given a lot of rain, Im not sure of Rotorua. Our Auckland Dams still need to be filled to last for our summer months as we had 3 summers with almost no rain at all.
I am hoping some one above will lasso a rain cloud and hold it over the water supply dams for who ever needs it.
Here I take a moment, this holiday is Home Away. I like the web site and not a common one I knew about but my sister told me about it. I am grateful for it because it shows places which are like a home to stay in.
I don’t make any money for telling you about it, but if it is helpful try it..I don’t know if it is world wide or not.
pretty much every culture has a legend which explains the rainbow
Well, there was supposed to be a Dwarf at the end of the rainbow with a pot of gold.
The Dwarf keeps moving that rainbow and he is mean and tight fisted
Thanks Alex, you are right, there are many stories told by a variety of people in the world.
that’s probably where the leprachaun story came from
Yes, I like their cheeky leprechauns, cant help it and Maoris can be cheeky too
Maori being cheeky, that would be something to see
Beautiful rainbow. I rarely see her.
Thanks Vidocka, glad you like rainbows.
I almost see no rainbow over the sea. It’s almost raining here.
Thanks so much Elenka, I am not sure how rainbows appear in some places except by the light through water as a prism…
in the US the company is airbnb. Always nicer to stay in a house!
Thanks Doc, yes, I can also access airbnb as well in New Zealand my sister told me about that too.
It is interesting right now as the global economy begins to embrace more and more things like this!
The entire setting in that photo is beautiful.
Thanks Grace, glad you like it.
Thanks Lado, glad you like the rainbow.
Great picture of a rainbow, dear Pamela
