CTA Kedzie has these unique colorful windows that catch my eye every time I drive down Kedzie Avenue in East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago. What ever the purpose is for them I do not know, but they do add a unique feel to its stop in comparison to others. I took this picture as I walked up the steps to catch the train to my college campus for Gradfest. I always get the urge to take and share pictures of all the train stops as I patiently wait until my train arrives. I hope you enjoy.

They are lovely windows. I have never seen anything like this in New Jersey.
Prior to seeing them I had never seen any
I am always shocked when I find a post that I totally missed! Took me some time but I found it. Nice work.
Have you ever encountered colorful windows in your area?
I have an eye for things that I just love to share
These are cool windows, maybe just to get your attention.
Very well could be there for that
Day 101 is awesome!
Now I am curious, I am going to see what the internet says about the windows.
Before this weekend ends, I’am going to look into it as well. I always think of a church when I see windows like this.
I couldn’t find anything, but they are beautiful windows!
I took a good look a them earlier while catching the train to my campus. I guess it is just something to make them stand out, idk, lol.
I am curious let me know if you find anything!
I would expect this in Boystown neighborhood where everything is rainbows. On that subject, they just put a rainbow crosswalk in Boystown. I will try to get a shot of it once it warms up.
Thanks, Thomas! I look forward to the pictures.
I would imagine that we are going to have atleast one day with it being in the 70s. This rain has to go!
We have had literally 45% of he days since July 1, 2018 with cloud cover. We are coming up on a year of wet.
2018 was the wettest year ever in the DMV (district, Virginia and Maryland).
2019 is heading towards being the 2nd wettest year.
yuck
Today was very tricky because the sky was gray. I procrastinated on riding my bike, so I ran instead. I see why I procrastinated because literally after I finished my run it poured down raining. After the rain went away, the sun came out like it was a normal hot day.
we went out for a walk on Sunday, we do longer walks on the weekend. We got around 1/2 way and the sky opened up. We had umbrellas so we were able to finish the walk, but we were soaked and so were the dogs.
I snuck a ride in today, but a few hours later it rained. Out temps look to mirror what it was today in the next couple of days. I may invest in a poncho to carry with me on my bike rides in case, but rarely do I get stuck in the rain.
we get caught all the time in the rain, but we have umbrellas with us!
This week it at has been raining in the late evening hours. Chicago weather is so tricky. At work I joked about it being a snow storm later in the evening after we had great temperatures during most of the day.
Indiana weather is a lot like that. We used to say wait 15 minutes it will change.
I’m just dying to see how long of a summer we have because I never noted May as being one of those rainy/ off-and-on hot weather months.
I suspect climate change is going to make things different forever if we are not careful
Thinking about it, I wouldn’t mind having this type of weather if this is going to be what summer is like. At least we have days that are cool versus extremely hot. I have nightmares of driving through downtown being stuck in traffic on a hot day.
in DC, we have nightmares about driving somewhere with no traffic, and waking up realizing its a holiday!
Thinking about that, some of my worst experiences with driving were driving in the nation’s capital region.
depends on which study you read we are the worst, 2nd worst, 4th or 9th worst traffic in the US.
Always in the top 10!
I drive a lot faster since I lived there, and never picked up road rage until I lived in the area which reminds me. We had a military guy get out screened out because it led to him taking medications.
Good to know about you, So did you cached the train ?
Of course I caught it. Wouldn’t just walk up to it like such and take a picture.
Great you are lucky enough ……….
