Matakana Country Village

Yesterday I posted some views of Matakana countryside. Today I will show you pictures of Matakana Village. Its something that you can go and see if you are near Warworth. Worth a look.

Matakana Village has a cafe, an art gallery, a playground for children, train rides for children, sometimes pony rides, a craft shop and farm animals to see. It has some old tractors and farm tools. Its really good to visit and have a look around.

There is even an old church to see.

#2 This sign is by children’s train rides

A very nice setting of trees and flowers and objects for children to see. Its really well set out for family entertainment.

Looks like its missing some parts. That is an oldie. Love the trees in the back round What are those? Do you know? They look like a type of Yucca but with wide trunks.

Here are some donkeys. However, there are pigs, chickens and goats.
