Leaving Town Before Sunrise

While walking the Towpath or Erie Canal Pathway in Brockport, New York we saw two canal boats tied up to the Welcome Center.  One pushed off just before sunrise and turned to the East and headed toward the Park Avenue Liftbridge.  The bells started clanking, the bridge lifted and the Packet Boat glided away.
