I utilize Chicago’s Ohio Street Beach as my turnaround point while cycling, or while conducting a training run for Chicago Marathon. I dub Ohio Street Beach as the gateway that connects me to inner city places like Navy Pier, Maggie Daley Park, Buckingham Fountain, plus many more key sights in the downtown area that I love. At Ohio Street Beach you can find many fitness enthusiasts that live in our city, plus visitors that just want to relax and enjoy it through therapeutic fitness activities. One thing I took note of is that you’ll see many triathletes doing their training at Ohio Street Beach because of its lengthy stretch that extends to Oak Street Beach.
As for these pictures they were taken with a Samsung Galaxy S8, and shared as part of the 365 Photos Challenge, which the rules and guidelines are listed if you would like to participate.
What a wonderful place and relaxing view! Cool pics. For me a big city having a lovely beach is a dream!!!
Definitely that! It has been one of my favorite cycling to places for a while now. I tend to feed off of the energy from the other fitness enthusiasts that pass through
