I did not win the sweepstakes, however I am happy that I took a chance with entering it. I also feel that with the application period opening, January 14th, I have yet another chance at getting into this years TCS New York City Marathon run. Those that have followed my writings within the past year would know that I am no stranger to the TCS New York City Marathon lottery because I entered it a year ago as well. I have mixed feelings about this, since I am already planning a trip to Detroit for Detroit Free Press Marathon, but I figure why not take a chance at the TCS New York City Marathon.

I have until October to train, which I plan to start my training once it warms up outside : )
Excellent a lot of time still… when is summer? by April?
Summer seems to start mid-April, but lately it has been really weird. Our winter actually started late December
well, this is the effect of global warming.
And we have been affected by it a lot these past months, and year.
