As many basketball fan of the National Basketball Association (NBA) who remembers former Chicago Bulls shooting guard Michael J Jordan who is not related to actor Michael B Jordan of “Creed” boxing fame is known for telling it like it is concerning sensitive issues in the basketball world like former Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Kevin Durant exercising his right as a free agent to leave the Thunder after the end of the 2015-16 basketball team to join the Golden State Warriors before the start of the 2016-17 basketball season.

Many Thunder fans called Durant a “Cupcake” for chasing his dream of playing basketball for a team like the Golden State Warriors who have angered many fans due to their success recently of winning two of the last three NBA Finals Championships.

Jordan has given his blessing to Durant to pursue his dream to win at least one NBA Finals championship ring since in the era where Michael Jordan played basketball, leaving his Chicago Bulls to play basketball for a team that is considered the enemy of the Bulls basketball team is considered an act of treason or stabbing your fan base in the back with a knife as a free agent.

I do remember when Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James went on national television at the end of the 2009-2010 basketball season to join the Miami Heat after his contract with the Cavaliers expired at the end of the 2009-2010 basketball season to pursue his dreams of winning NBA rings which angered his fan base to the point the Cavaliers fans burned his jersey in an act of anger.

I will say this about Michael J Jordan. He does march to the beat of his drummer which has ticked off a lot of sports reporters who have come to realize that Michael is not the Tom Jones song called “Puppet Man.” I like that.
