If you did not catch my writing about what marathon I chose this fall, here it is once again. That marathon is Indianapolis Monumental Marathon. How sweet will it be running this marathon and it will be my fourth midwestern state marathon ran this far.

This beautiful over shot is actually where the finish line is for this run which is known as the Soldiers & Sailors Monument in Indianapolis, Indiana.
At this very moment I am putting together a Yelp list of businesses and restaurants I plan to visit during marathon weekend. The funny thing about that is I typically put together a list of restaurants similar to what I frequent here in Chicago. It is my way of making myself home, or in this case a temporary home.

you get to see many cool things. my favorite stop near the monument is the Circle City Mall!!!
Very cool, I will add that to my Yelp list as well. I have added many great trails that consist of waterfalls to
the canal is fun to run around! When I was running I was running down in Greenwood, (south side) so I can’t really help you with fun trails.
I just may visit on a random weekend, during the summer just to run the trails.

there are many cool trails, if you go out by the zoo there are some along the white river.

🙂 do you prefer “city” or “country” running? if you prefer the country there are many state parks near Indy that have wonderful wild trails.
I prefer city mostly, but it really depends on my mood. Majority of the time I prefer city. If I wake up in an anti-social mood then I’d go for country which is rare like once every two weeks.
well there are lots of good city runs, Greenwood has a few good city trails. Fischer has a bunch of good trails as well!!!
