Ansu Fati eliminates Inter Milan from Champions League

source

Barcelona knocked inter Milan out of the Champions League with a 2-1 victory in Milan, Italy.  Barcelona had already clinched first place in their group, so they were able to play many of their bench players yesterday evening.  One of their superb substitutes is Ansu Fati.

Fati entered the game as a substitute in the 85th minute with the game tied at one apiece.  Fati then scored one minute later on a give-and-go with Luis Suarez for the win.  The goal was scored from right outside of the penalty area on a quick strike to the left side of the net.

Ansu Fati now becomes the youngest player ever to score in a UEFA Champions League match at seventeen years of age.  The record was recently broken last month by Real Madrid striker Rodrygo, who is eighteen years old.

    • That is correct, lado. Barcelona have to loan their players out that do not play every game. Fati and Carles Perez do not receive a lot of playing time because they have to sit behind Messi, Suarez, and Griezmann.

      • It really is just a great replacement for these allies so Barcelona don’t have to fear if they happen to be missing out … only if the seat fighters on the bench are going to fall back … you get experience playing … otherwise Barcelona also has a B team
