Hello everyone. How are you all doing? It’s been a while since I’ve been on Virily. I don’t really have a good enough excuse to be honest with you. Some of you may remember I broke my wrist back in April. That’s still causing me problems. I can’t bend or move it very much. I go and see the Doctor again in July, so hoping if it’s no better by then he’ll be able to do something to remedy it.
Anyway, onto lighter news. Today as I was walking to work, I noticed this little ladybird. I know these little creatures have different names in other countries, but that’s what we call them here. So I took out my mobile phone and zoomed in and got this lovely photo of it. Looking at them close up, they look quite pretty don’t they? I’m lucky really it didn’t fly off. But just after I took the photograph it scurried off and started walking up and down the weeds and plants. Seeing this little ladybird has made me happy today. I have learnt in recent days it’s the little things that make you happy, don’t you think?
In England, the lockdown is easing up a bit, with non-essential shops being able to open up now, as long as they adhere to the government guidelines of keeping people 2 metres apart, or trying to at least! I have seen that quite a lot of people don’t take much notice of this though!
Anyway, after taking the photo of the ladybird, I decided to go onto You Tube and found this short clip of the cycle of a ladybird, which I thought was quite interesting. There’s some good facts in there I didn’t know about these little bugs. I hope this has put a smile on your face!
