Its a great time to visit at Spring time.
Sadly in New Zealand its Duck shooting season, I hate that time of the year. Ducks are culled by hunters and they also kill Black Swans or Pheasants as well.
Many of the wiser birds fly to a park like this as no shooting is allowed here.
