Scientists Can Now Calculate Your Date of Death, Do You Want To Know Yours?

Scientists have come up with an advanced A.I. program which can take all of your health and genetic information and accurately calculate,  and tell you reasonably accurately when you are going to die. The question is, would you want to know or prefer not to know?

All people fall into one of only two camps. In the first camp, they say that knowing an approximate date would motivate the person to live their life more productively. They would waste less time, not settle for mediocrity in their careers or relationships. The fact is, such knowledge could be just the spark needed to start working harder to make life richer and fuller.

However, the people in the other camp – feel that knowing their checkout date, regardless of how well one lives, is simply too depressing to consider, so much so, that even happy occasions would be marred by such knowledge and the thought of the ever-encroaching hand of death would be just too close to their throat, and one would always be wondering if they were living fully enough. They feel, that being stuck in this situation and not being able to escape and knowing the date of their personal date with death, would make it much worse.

They took all of this into consideration when they came up with the latest life expectancy calculator and found a way to calculate how many healthy years one could look forward to, so, instead of providing a person’s approximate date of death.

There are naturally many incidental variables like forces of nature and accidents which influence which can further impact on how you normally live your life, which can be more or less depressing. On the positive side, it could also provide a very important wake-up call for those who are not on a healthy life path.

If you would like to know your approximate expiry date, contact the Janet and Mark L. Goldenson Center for Actuarial Research at the University of Connecticut, or you can just do the test online by clicking here.

  1. At first I’m a bit scared of getting to know when I will die but when I tried it I feel relieved because it’s according to one’s lifestyle. Happy Halloween!

  2. Great article. Went and did the test online. It is pretty simple and if I understood the answer probably, I will live till the ripe old age of about 84 years old. Another 21 years to go past my 63. Can’t wait to see if it is true….

    • Great stuff! You are so brave, I did it too and from my 66 years and with my diabetes, which I manage well, exercising and eating right, I should hit 80. I don’t know if it comes with age or what, but one fears death a lot less after 60. I heard something interesting last week, a person who had done extensive research, say that generally, most people accept death, but practically all don’t want to actually die, to get to the other side. Regards, Andre’

    • Hello Jasmine, thank you for your comment. Yes apparently this is quite real but of course, there are many variables, I mean, it only works if you die of natural causes. If a Tsunami hits a person, or a car hits you etc. that changes the situation completely. Regards, Andre’
