Roundup trial postponed in St. Louis

source

A case in St. Louis in which a person contracted cancer due to the use of Roundup that was supposed to have started this week has been postponed until January.  Monsanto, the manufacturer of Roundup, and Bayer, the owner of Monsanto, have been reeling due to three lawsuits this year judged against them to the tune of two billion dollars.

The main reason as to why this lawsuit has been postponed is due to state law.  The previous three cases that were already litigated occurred in California earlier this year.  In California, executives that are defendants are not required to testify in front of a live jury.  However, this case is in Missouri.  In Missouri, all defendants have to testify in front of a jury.  Uh-oh for Monsanto!
