With the kids back in school, it almost feels like summer is over. Nonetheless, the weather has been pretty warm, and the flower garden is still a hive of activity. Below, I have some pictures of the bees in the “Ironweed” and a grasshopper in the Lavender. The Ironweed is usually a favorite of the butterflies, but I have seen any flitting around lately. I have quite a few ripe tomatoes that I have to go pick in the garden, so I’d better get to it.
