Slovenia has a lot of beautiful lakes. In the vicinity of my home there is another beautiful artificial lake called Crnava. I visit this lake at least twice a week.
Lake Crnava and hotel Bor are located in Preddvor and are a popular spot for many locals and the surrounding area. It is also a starting point for hiking to St. Jakob, Potoška gora, Kališče, Storžič etc.
The lake is surrounded by a well-maintained promenade. The Crnava Lake is not too large, the trail is well arranged, it is not so demanding, it is also suitable for younger children. Make a picnic, there are many quiet corners in the surroundings of the lake where you can relax.
In the summer time, the Crnava Lake offers you: swimming, boating, fishing. In winter, when temperatures are lowered, ice skating is also possible
