This is a Kowhai tree in bloom in Cornwall Park, flowers in Spring and it’s another aspect of twin oak drive.
Here people go for walks, although it’s windy and raining at this time of posting the picture. Sometimes people walk their dogs through the park although they are supposed to have a lead.
If you walk a dog, it’s required you take a bag to put the dog mess in it and put it into an appropriate bin. Not all do it but should.
Lovely tree Pamela!
Thanks Andrew
Thanks Andrew for your kind comments
You’re welcome Pamela!

Thanks Hamza
Lovely tree!
Thanks Nina
Wonderful site, as I already mentioned in some other post I simply love greenery, trees, flowers and Spring; and you provided this all in one small pack here!
Thanks Nadeem
Beautiful tree!
Thanks Ellie!
This should become a habit for all. I do not believe they do not clean if that happens
chi in their houses.
You would be surprised at how some live in their houses! Thanks for your comments, I agree with you.
Wow… The tree is really beautiful, Pamela. How old is it? 25 years?
I am not sure. Cornwall Park was gifted to the people of Auckland by Sir John Logan Campbell and some people put various plants and trees. It’s an enormous place.
Yayaya… It looks very beautiful there, Pamela.
Thanks Albert, Cornwall Park really is lovely. Sir John Logan Campbell came to NZ from Scotland and gifted it to the New Zealand public and people of Auckland. That happened in the early 1900s. Certainly a great gift.
I have pretty purple bags. lol I prefer to take mine off lead and let them run in the country though, but at times I do have to carry bags. A pet peeve of mine is people will leave the dang bags along hiking trails here.
Thanks Kim, I agree with you.
