Crimson Crepe ~ Just for Fun FLORA

Kim has an interesting challenge for August. You can read about it here: Flora and Fauna. I have so many photos to add to this challenge. Today I noticed my Crepe Myrtle tree blooms are covering the tree beside my house. I love the crimson color. They always show off this time of the year. I cut it back at the end of the season and it always comes back. Love the perennials. Easy peasy in the garden.

#2 Crepe growing tall again this year

Each year this Crepe Myrtle tree grows taller beside my house and hedges. I cut it back each year and it always comes back.

You know what I just saw at our local WM? A black night butterfly bush. It’s a bit pricey. I didn’t get it. Now I want to go back.. There were only two yesterday. I hope there is one left, if so I will take pictures.

#3 Contrasting leaves and blooms

I always like to see the green leaves and crimson red blooms. These are happy blooms.
