Cornwall Park Scenery & Spring Lambs & other

Cornwall Park was gifted to Auckland and to the public in the early 1900s by Sir John Logan Campbell. It’s a huge area. It is part farm and part park. There are beef cattle, sheep and a few bantams. Other birds reside there, pheasants and Guinea Fowl.

Here are some photos I took. Quite a few new born lambs just born. There are also some calves being born. It’s advisable to keep your distance from the new borns as their Mums are very protective of them and will defend them. A mother cow can inflict quite a lot of damage.
