Common chaffinch and Great tit.
I’ve posted many Great Tit titles, but for the first time I managed to get close to Common chaffinch.
The ordinary Common chaffinch is as big as a Sparrow. During the breeding season, the head of the male is tricolor – the forehead is black, the crown and the nape are gray, the cheeks are honey-brown. The back and the underside of the body are brown, the cross is greenish. In the remaining seasons, the top of the head is brownish. There are two white strips across the wings. The female has lighter tones in the plumage. Young individuals look like female, but their plumage is fluffy.
That’s a beautiful Tit George. Great photography!
Lovely post showing both, we have the Chaufinch in New Zealand we don’t have the Tit.
They are so beautiful, we feed them during the winter. Gorgeous picture!
They are so cute. I am curious, to what extent exactly are you to approach them?
Great capture, such pretty birds!
Nicely photographed, perfect!
Very well caught moment at the right time
