This is a wonderful time of the year in Alabama. The black eye Susan`s have littered the highways and fields in the best way.
In my back field I have tons of these wild flowers brightening my day.
Peeking out behind the black eyed Susan`s are fall asters.
If you plant Black eyed Susan`s you will not be disappointed, they also self seed for many years of flowers to come each fall.
