Big water snail.
It is found in marshes, lakes, swampy stretches of rivers and other small water basins.
It is also omnivorous. It inhabits the water vegetation on the surface of the water.
They lay their eggs in long cords that attach to underwater objects.
These creatures stood 1 inches below the water. These specimens stood 2 cm below the water. The diameter of their shells was 5 – 6 cm.
Some of them floated with very interesting moves.
In one of my next posts, I will tell you about the Dragoman swamp where I was able to capture them.
There is a protected area and various species of birds, insects and vegetation can be observed.
Awesome snail shots Georgi!
It is good that trails are built in the swamp because these snails live inside it
Lovely photos, thanks for sharing
There are so many objects to shooting, and so little free time!
Hello Georgi, I can remember some of the very first photos you posted, about factory structures and natural decay, your quality has kept improving and your latest work shows your talents perfectly as a photographer. Thank you for sharing. Regards, Andre’
