Big water snail

Big water snail.

It is found in marshes, lakes, swampy stretches of rivers and other small water basins.

It is also omnivorous. It inhabits the water vegetation on the surface of the water.

They lay their eggs in long cords that attach to underwater objects.

These creatures stood 1 inches below the water. These specimens stood 2 cm below the water. The diameter of their shells was 5 – 6 cm.

Some of them floated with very interesting moves.

In one of my next posts, I will tell you about the Dragoman swamp where I was able to capture them.

There is a protected area and various species of birds, insects and vegetation can be observed.
