African Violets or Saintpaulia, are growing in my indoor garden. They are sensitive plants and must be kept at a steady temperature and lighting. Some people have a special room with fluorescent lighting just for their African Violets. I enjoy the different colors but there is something special about the white ones.
My mother had many types on the window. But after her death we gave them to friends. They are very delicate. But they are super beautiful.

I like African violets as a houseplant. You can grow more from one leaf put in a saucer, It grows some roots, put it in potting mix but never water the leaves. Lovely post
