Another incredible sunset captured by my daughter, Aurora, (Goddess of Light) Perhaps there is more to a name than meets the eye. What if at all, is the difference between sunrise and sunset? Well, after a bit of research, it would seem, that there really is a difference: “Because the sun is low on the horizon, sunlight passes through more air at sunset and sunrise than during the day, when the sun is higher in the sky. More atmosphere means more molecules to scatter the violet and blue light away from your eyes. … Therefore sunsets are often yellow, orange, and red.”~ www.sciencedaily.com
