I was really quite excited about the research I did and the things I learned. However, try as I might I just couldn’t get the quiz to produce the correct answers. In true frustrated fashion, I accidentally slammed down on publish and there was no going back. So see the flowers through the broken glass? Well I am going to share with all I learned so you will know the correct information no matte what the quiz may say! (I am trying to make lemonade out of a lemon.)
I believe one of the things that surprised me most was that fact that feeling tired during the day, doesn’t really have much to do with not sleeping well the night before. It has more to do with eating, stress and other immediate factors.
Reading in bed is really not a great way to get ready to sleep. Instead of relaxing your mind, you are a using it. Alcohol may let you relax, but it disrupts the sleep after you initially fall asleep, so that is not a great option either. The best temperature for the bedroom for sleeping is between 60 and 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Even if you have a great night sleep your body is naturally programed to feel sleepy 1 or 2 times a day. It’s a signal to rest. So regardless of the quiz gone wrong, now you know the correct answers.
