Strasbourg is a city in the region Alsace, France. Located on the Rhine River and is an important port and industrial center. The city has developed trade in wine, hops and tobacco. Strasbourg has a cathedral in the Gothic style, univerzititet, conservatory and academy. Since the industries have been developed: shipbuilding, metallurgy, machinery, food, textile, tobacco and printing industries. According to data from 2011 in the city was 272,222 inhabitants. From the first of January 2016, Strasbourg became the capital of a new administrative district of Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne-Lorraine.
