I live some distance from the coast so it’s not always easy to swim in the sea. We do however have some very nice man made beaches in the UK where a quantity of sand is imported to a lake district and people can have fun with the sand and swim in the lakes. These water parks have many features such as pedaloes, food places etc. and it makes a nice family day out.
However many people do not enjoy swimming in fresh water lakes and prefer the sea. I enjoy both. The picture is from a park in South West England where we go every summer and is only a 30 minute drive from where I live. Are there any beaches like this where you live?

What a wonderful Idea, wish we had beaches like that here. We live so far from the coast.
I live a long way from the coast too but this only takes a half hour drive
That is a great idea to bring the feel of the sea nearer to people. We have several natural beaches here.
I like a beach by the sea but the closest to my home is so far away so its nice to have this one.
It looks like a wonderful spot. I live right near a real beach but I do like man-made beaches like this if others are too far away,

It’s a beautiful place. In our country we have two similar beaches by the lakes. But they are not as beautifully decorated as yours.
We don’t have many but this one is close to my home.
