This morning I spend an extra hour just sitting in my bed and thinking about the day ahead. I have decided that I have one goal today and only one. I am going to try and make my day as stress-free as possible. Hopefully, if all goes well that will prevent another blister or 100 more blisters from appearing. (They are caused by stress and make me more stressed, so things must change. So between here and the lot I am going to see just how much I can do to reduce stress and keep this day calm and yes, maybe even have a little fun.
To be clear, I could use your help. Lockdown and hiding in plain sight are getting old. Work stress and lack of work are driving me nuts. I am the only one who can do the work and still, cheerleaders are appreciated.
This morning one member here already sent me something that brought peace, a smile, and tears of joy. Thank you.
The picture is my great-niece and her name is Joy, as was my mother’s middle name. (However, I think she was named after a character in a movie.) She has Mom’s black hair and her very own smile. I don’t have any flowers to share, but they have flowers in the background. Joy made me smile.
I am off to a good start and today it’s going to be about “me” being less stressed. Thanks for allowing me this very selfish day!
That is always the best to have a photo so adorable. Joy could make anyone smile. It is best to wake up and just ease out of bed and stretch and think the day is going to be great.
What an adorable photo. It is not selfish to be stress-free. Enjoy.
Thanks for sharing this. Smiling baby pictures always lift my spirit. They remind me of the joy of life.
This early morning my dog and I went for a walk. Normally there are 100 other people out walking. Today none, but we saw a red fox.
they do not often come out when people are out. My dog was ready to meet the fox. I was preferring to stay a bit away.
but we saw a fox!!!!!!
Now that there are so many fewer people walking about the fox thought it was safe to come out of hiding, Doc. Bring a camera next time I’d love to see that fox
i had my phone but I was way to slow!
