In a world that is seeing so many acts of darkness these days, there is a ray of sunshine in Milledgeville Georgia when Maurice Adams Junior was a passenger in an auto that was being driven by his mother Contricia Hill after his older sister graduated from high school.
Maurice who credits his mother Contricia to teach him how to be a blessing to other people since he was a toddler, put the lessons of assisting others to good use recently.
Maurice, his mom and older sister were driving on the road in Milledgeville when he saw an elderly lady crossing the street.
Maurice asked his mom to stop the auto so he could lend a hand to the elderly lady to climb the stairs so she can get to her destination.
Maurice assisted the elderly lady walk up of all of the stairs by assisting her to climb each step carefully and patiently..
When the elderly lady reached the top of the stairs, she gave Maurice a hug to show him that she appreciated him to climb up the stairs safe and sound by hugging Maurice.
It is nice to children being brought out the right way by their parents to assist other people before getting their desires of having fun first.
Riley Duncan who was in the area decided to take images of the kind deed that Maurice did to assist an elderly lady climb the stairs safe and sound.
The story went viral on the internet as well as on the Atlanta television markets for their newscasts.
So hard to know what is really going on with all the misrepresentation out there….
My late mom told me that senior citizens these days see young teens and they think they are planning to harm them for their money.
I think that has been the case for a long time. And sadly it isn’t all that paranoid…
That is true since not all teens believe in the giving way of life.
The problem is that “the world owes me a living” mentality so many people have today…
Why is this so amazing to everyone? I do things for my elders all of the time.
The reason I find it amazing is that the belief is that young kids are disrespectful to older people these days. Not to mention that an eyewitness sold this story to a local television in Atlanta.
I imagine the kid is probably really not all bad anyway and he already knew to do this.
Maurice has been taught by his mother to be kind to others.
Always warms the heart to see stories like these
I agree with you Gloridaze.
It is nice to know that some young men and women are being raised the right way by their parents.
My late mom credited her mother to love and respect people of all races and creeds.
He learns love well, understands and makes himself as love itself.
Maurice is a ray of sunshine in a dark world.
Totally agree, Dee. I’m sure you also have love like him.
Maurice is a very good person who has a great future with his right attitude.
That’s right but you too…
That is very sweet. It is dangerous for someone with a walker like that to go up steps alone.
I am happy that Maurice did assist the elderly lady climb up the stairs and she rewarded Maurice with a thank you gesture.
