I failed to get out to walk after yesterday’s run at Des Plaines River trail, but best believe I would conduct it the following day prior to the start of my work schedule. Rarely am I in the mood to do a double workout after a good run on the trail and on a hot summer day I add. I also put off going to the grocery store to take advantage of a weekly sale that I have been eyeballing these past couple of days, but as I always say there is always another day.Sears Tower‘Eat Me Milk Me’In comparison to my walk from last weekend, I started at Union Park and made the Washington St bridge my turnaround point. Half and half of the route walked down Randolph St within Fulton Market District and Washington St. I loved this route because it gave me the chance to visually see a restaurant I have bookmarked on my Yelp named ‘Eat Me Milk Me’. Yes, they named it that for whatever God knows reason, hehe. Getting into this walk, I took an interest in Sears Tower which I spotted along my route on Randolph St, but the sun interfered with capturing the perfect picture of it, so best believe I will get a better capture of it in the future. At this moment I am entertaining the thought of walking on the trail this upcoming week; the same trail that I typically run on which is the Des Plaines River trail. Maybe I will conduct a walk run on it to kick off August 17-23 workout week. After today’s walk I am sitting at 25 kilometers (15.53) of 50 kilometers (31.06) for the August Walking Challenge, which I feel is right where I need to be with only 15 more days left of this challenge. While picking up lunch today at Pete’s Fresh Market, they gave me a box of masks after making my purchase at the register. I remember when I had no masks post covid-19, but now I have well enough to give others that may need one. This box literally contains 50 disposable masks inside. I hope all is well with you today, and thank you for reading.

Funny name for a restaurant hehehe 🙂
And I will be posting about it very soon, hehe. Good ol Eat Me Milk Me, lol
Our world is full of strange things, some of them can be considered funny :))))
I love it because it is an extra thing that keeps a smile on my face
we have the same box in my wife’s office. Although for work she isn’t allowed to wear them! she has to wear the n95 mask at work.
Cool! My eyes lit up when she said would you like a box of masks complimentary from Pete’s. My response was, is it free? Lol
For the record I’m loving this walking challenge. This was by far one of my favorite walks. I’m going to keep walking through the areas like this.
i did 34000 steps on Saturday and another 29000 on Sunday. I love to walk!
That is very good. I may switch my route up this weekend or try to go out a little earlier in comparison to my previous walks.
