The workout

I almost gave in to the thought of not doing this workout today, but what gave me the energy to follow through with it is the time it takes to do these workouts. In this case, this particular workout is only 9 minutes long. If it were near 20 minutes I probably would’ve  postponed it.

I took interest in two exercises that I definitely will be adding to my future sessions which were the chair position, and the side. Hell! Just seeing my abdominal muscles ripple in the chair position is enough to add it to future sessions, and the side targets the side abdominal which are easy to neglect.

Workouts:

  • The warrior
  • Lean forward
  • Chair position
  • The side
  • Strong hips
  • Knees up
  • The bicycle
  • Half bridge

*Bonus*

  • 1.90 mile run
  • 30 push ups
  • 20 jumping jacks
  • The checkmark-15 repetitions
  • The heels-20 repetitions
  • 20 reverse crunches
  • Foam roller
  • Groin stretch

      • That’s what my friend in AZ says, she lives at at the base of Superstition Mountains, she says its crazy out there. So busy. I know they opened up the state beaches in CA just this last week. Still social distancing of 6-10 feet mandatory.

    • This is one of my favorite trails and I feel that it’s going to close down. But that is OK because I will just a run within the neighborhoods. I do have a plan to drive to different neighborhoods and get my run in or I’ll just run through the areas where businesses are shut down.

  1. You finally got me into your indoor type exercises Thomas. I was just thinking yesterday, what am I going to do with these muscles I have painstakingly acquired from hiking. Which I don’t feel safe doing right now. Better to stay inside.
    I think I can do eight minutes.. Please continue doing these through our stay inside orders. Be our trainer! We really need this in this time.
