I almost gave in to the thought of not doing this workout today, but what gave me the energy to follow through with it is the time it takes to do these workouts. In this case, this particular workout is only 9 minutes long. If it were near 20 minutes I probably would’ve postponed it.
I took interest in two exercises that I definitely will be adding to my future sessions which were the chair position, and the side. Hell! Just seeing my abdominal muscles ripple in the chair position is enough to add it to future sessions, and the side targets the side abdominal which are easy to neglect.

- 30 push ups
- 20 jumping jacks
- The checkmark-15 repetitions

It is actually starting to get worse on the trails. There are many people in the way walking, or just taking a slow stroll around the park. Many people have to go around each other getting into their space.
That’s what my friend in AZ says, she lives at at the base of Superstition Mountains, she says its crazy out there. So busy. I know they opened up the state beaches in CA just this last week. Still social distancing of 6-10 feet mandatory.
This is one of my favorite trails and I feel that it’s going to close down. But that is OK because I will just a run within the neighborhoods. I do have a plan to drive to different neighborhoods and get my run in or I’ll just run through the areas where businesses are shut down.
Great ideas there. At least with picking different neighborhoods you wont get bored of the same old scene. I guess I am going to start doing neighborhoods. The dogs really need to get out to run though.
If I have to I will catch the train downtown Chicago and just get off and run around downtown. I know that it’s a ghost town around there
You finally got me into your indoor type exercises Thomas. I was just thinking yesterday, what am I going to do with these muscles I have painstakingly acquired from hiking. Which I don’t feel safe doing right now. Better to stay inside.
I think I can do eight minutes.. Please continue doing these through our stay inside orders. Be our trainer! We really need this in this time.

The application I am using is called yoga for weight loss. I love it. I anticipate the workouts because a lot of the exercises are something that I have never done before or either their yoga style.
