With thirteen more days left in the month and my current standing at 41.8 kilometers out of 100 kilometers for the August Running Challenge it is time to shift my focus towards some hefty mileage to put a dent in this challenge. I have the interest this week to run 10 kilometers, or maybe break it up into either a 4 mile run one day then a 3 mile run the next day. The August Running Challenge is like a thorn in my side with it being 100 kilometers (62.13 miles). It is my longest challenge this month, and the reason why I even consider going on a run in-between my off work days or before or after work.

I may drop it next week around this time depending on where I am at. Did a double run today to hit the halfway point for specifically that. I am planning to do a few double runs to catch up on it. The way they have it listed in kilometers is what throws me off. I look at it sometimes and think its 100 miles, lol. Reason why I love the Run for Dementia Challenge because it is listed in miles not kilometers.
The coworkers are steady calling off. I think that it is because of payday being Friday. I am at a point now that I just don’t accept the hours entirely, but do give an extra hour or two of my time.
i do the miles to km in my head, but I spent time out of the US in the metric system.
The finale for that 100 kilometers I can see happening on the last day of the challenge. The more I do now on my days off of work gives me more breathing room.

That is pretty good. Do you track your calories or just steps and mileage?
i miscalculated 23 day so august I am closer to 180 miles.
