We Had A Fair Crop Of Figs, In Spite Of The Severe Drought And Hail.

We decided to try drying some and also to make some jam and preserve for winter. In the next Image, I would like to share the picture of the bottles of fig jam. The dried figs were quite edible and didn’t last a day! We shared our vegetables and jams with our eldest daughter living  500 kilos away. They visited for a long weekend, that was the best part of our story.

    • Believe me Albert, they are amazingly healthy, even from Biblical times, figs are rich in minerals including potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron and copper and are a good source of antioxidant vitamins A and K that contribute to health and wellness. Vitamin K2 is one mineral that really fights aging by detoxing your liver. Thanks for reading and commenting.
