This is one of those things that I just “must” try. I called our florists and she says that she believes, even I, may be able to keep these going all winter. That would be a new experience for me and I would love to see it happen. I was so excited about the possibility that I jumped in the car and went to pick them up. So I have cookie dough still waiting to go in the oven.
Clearly it’s still a bit of a scatter brain day. I am going to try and make the best of the hours I have left. I am hopeful that you will have a great day and do the same!
I don’t think they can just keep growing in water.
They are doing great. I am very surprised.
that seems like a fun way to grow flowers!
We, in our house, would kill them!
They are still alive. I can’t believe it.
that is a good thing! we have one flower that came right before Christmas and it is still alive!
Is this some kind of hydroponics?
Yes Grace, that would be correct.
Good luck, sounds like something I should try.
So far so good. They are still alive this morning.
You mean those are flowers growing in the vases without soil?
Yes, there are nutrients you put in the water.
